P.E. and Sports Funding

What is Sports Premium?

The government is providing funding of £150 million per year to provide new primary school sport funding. This will see more money going directly to primary school Head Teachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.

School’s will have to spend the sports funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they have the freedom to chose how they spend the funding.

The Federation has to provide information to parents on how we spend the funding and we are currently in the process of formulating the document to provide this information for you. In the interim below is a list of activities that we have provided together with a link to the government website.
