One Love Manchester

Year 6 have been very upset about the attack in Manchester.  So much so that they decided to have a non-uniform day to raise money for the children affected by this terrible incident.  On Friday 9th June, all the children, across the Federation, came to school dressed in black and yellow to resemble the “bee”; which has become the Manchester emblem.

Children have decided to use some of the money to buy sweets for the children; the sweets will be put into 100 cellophane bags and delivered to the Manchester Children’s Hospital.  The rest of the money raised will be donated to the children’s ward.

Rounders

Year 5 and 6 worked really hard today so we had some fun playing rounders before

school finished.

Lenten Gardens

Year 6 created their own Lenten Gardens.  Thank you to Mrs Hill for coming in and helping us.

Children have had a good night – struggled to get some of them up!!  Had a good breakfast – off to the woods for Bushcraft; followed by lunch and indoor buggies.  Leaving at 2:30pm.  Expecting to be back at school by 4:00pm.
