Reception

Week Commencing 13th July 2020

Hello Reception!

This is the last week I will be setting work for this term. There will be a literacy, numeracy and topic link and I hope you have fun completing them.

Over the holidays, please continue to read. We will be counting up your reads for golden stamps once we return in September. I am also going to add a link for Sponge Elephant, which is a website which has many educational links if you want to use this over the summer. Under the New Sept Class page, I will be adding a transition video for you to watch; I hope you enjoy it!

I want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you and your grown up’s, who have all worked extremely hard and kept smiling throughout this time; it has been wonderful to see and I am so proud to be your teacher!

Have lots of fun over the summer holidays, make lots of memories and I can’t wait to see you all very soon,

Miss Bamford

Fun places to visit online

I have had information from Jodrell Bank to say that they have lots of fun things to do at home available on their website, from stargazing to home projects about space, there’s lots to investigate and learn.  Visit their website https://www.jodrellbank.net/learn/schools/resources/

There is also a website that is run by the Premier League that has many different challenges and competitions.  They have English and maths activities to do at home, but also things to help you stay active. It looks quite fun so go and  take a look at their website:    https://plprimarystars.com/home-learning?utm_campaign=1880982_HL%20weekly%20email%2010.04.20&utm_medium=email&utm_source=edcoms&dm_i=3VTU,14BDI,52XN45,3XRDI,1
