Emergency Closures

Closing the school is never a decision we take lightly. It is always a last resort but sometimes it is unavoidable due to weather conditions. Also if the minibus is unable to run we will notify parents as soon as we possibly can.

There are a number of ways you can find out if we’ve had to close the school.

Firstly we will send out a text using the Teachers to Parents text messaging service.  We will update the news page on our website and you can also check http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/schoolclosures or listen to High Peak Radio 106.4 and 103.3FM.
